I'm a trucker, and this light is great for doing pretrips in the dark. And doing walk arounds. Also is great for seeing a good distance away with spot light on high. So all in all it's a great light that works very well.
Somehow, I had lost the cap and battery to my headlamp. I asked how I could go about get a replacement. They said they would just send me a replacement. When the package arrived, It was a whole new light.
Have been using these headlights till today since version 1 on kickstarter 2016/2017). No complaints at all.
Now I got the 4 new ones, planning to gift them but one for me if (IF) one of the first ones fails at some point. Battery is heavier but the headlamp does a lot more functions so it’s a win overall.
On the other hand Ammon and coworkers do everything to maintain quality and their word.
Hi Ammon
I am saddened to hear of your decision to step away from One80.
Your products have been well designed improving after each new release. I have purchased every design over the years.
and many of my family and friends use them in a regular basis.
My son is currently using his head torch with the red light whilst working in Australia baling straw in the dark as the tractor interior light causes too much glare.
Please accept my sincere thanks and best wishes for the future.
Gook luck
Kindest regards

I have owned the 1st, 2nd, and now this newer version of the 180 light. I also have a running light as well as the bike lights.
I would say this last version would be the best if it weren't for the bulky battery. The battery form factor alone is the only negative to the light. The batteries on all the other versions were far superior. Outside of that I find 180 lights to be the best thing out there. This newer version with the tilting spotlight is very nice.
