Running Belt

I owned the previous version of the one80 headlamp/running belt. Eventually it stopped working, assume due to an internal connection to the battery wire that failed. While the new version’s lamp is an improvement from a luminance perspective, I find the battery that was introduced to address the additional power demand to be excessively bulky compared with the previous belt’s battery. The bulkiness is noticeable and also causes the belt to shift in the opposite direction on my waist (belt tightness does not help). As the previous belt required a sealant to cover exposed wire when the insulation separated from the light and the light itself clearly failed due to the same battery connection wire, I am concerned with the additional movement of the battery and the effect it might have on the longevity of the belt.

I don’t go running a lot but I do go camping a lot and sometimes having a headlight on when doing chores around the site is hard because the bugs are attracted to to light so they are all in your face. The running belt eliminates that and focus more light on the ground ahead and around me for my tasks. An excellent idea! Bravo!👏🏽

comfortable and secure for long runs in the am :)

Great light. Fits nicely. Very bright. Good options for lighting including spotlight, waist light, blinky light. Only thing I'd change is, the battery pack is a bit large and noticeable when I'm doing speed work with the light on.
